Louie Gohmert Blames Clinton For Trump’s Dirty Talk

Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas not only continued to defend Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s vulgar bragging about sexual assaults, but blames former President Bill Clinton for Trump’s comments.

Gohmert went on Fox News on Tuesday and said most House Republicans disagreed with the GOP leaders who chastised Trump over the 2005 leaked tape of Trump bragging about grabbing women “by the pussy” without their consent. He also insisted that Trump was a Christian now and he is different.

“Trump has said some things that are very vile back when he was supporting people like Bill Clinton,” Gohmert declared. “But if you’re Bill Clinton’s big buddy like he was at one time, you’re going to talk like Bill Clinton. And I think we need to forgive him for talking like big Democrats like Clinton and other foulmouthed people.”

“Now he’s a Republican,” rep. Gohmert continued. “[Pastor] James Dobson tells me he’s become a Christian. And so, look, we forgive him for the past because he’s asked for it.”
“We need to get on board. It’s all-in or it’s nothing.”
