The heavily publicized North Carolina anti – trans law has now turned a militant leaf. The Liberty Council’s leader tweeted the fact that she intends to take a gun into the ladies bathroom at Target stores in order to take aim at anyone she suspects of being transgender.

On Monday, blogger Joe My God published, “Liberty Counsel president Anita Staver declared Friday that she will be taking her Glock .45 handgun to Target as protection against assaults by transgender patrons.”

In her actual tweet, Anita Staver wrote, ‘’ I’m taking a Glock .45 to the ladies room. It identifies as my bodyguard.’’ The Liberty Counsel president, Anita Staver is the wife of Mat Staver who was the head of the legal counsel that defended Kim Davis, the candid anti – marriage equality county clerk. This was after the clerk had made a concerted effort to refuse same – sex couples the right to be tied in matrimony.

Many a conservative lobbyist have been very irate over the North Carolina anti – transgender decree that forbids transsexual individuals from using the bathrooms that correspond to their sexual identity. It is the state’s case that regardless of how one identifies himself in terms of sexual orientation, they should use the bathroom that goes with their biological sexuality.

Recently Target stores went against this directive and decided to permit trans customers to use whichever toilet that they feel goes with their sexual identity. As a direct result, the Liberty Counsel started a petition called #BoycottTarget campaign over the social media sites last week.
