President Donald Trump used his Twitter account Easter morning to attack protestors who are demanding he show his tax returns, which he claims is unnecessary since he “easily won the Electoral College.”

Right after changing his position on calling China a currency manipulator, since they are now helping deal with North Korea, he complained about calls for his tax returns on Twitter.

“I did what was an almost an impossible thing to do for a Republican-easily won the Electoral College! Now Tax Returns are brought up again?” Trump tweeted.

Tens of thousands of people filled the streets on Saturday in what is known as the Tax Day protests. They called for Trump to release his tax returns and prove that he is not hiding anything, such as possible Russian financial ties to his companies.

The president also claimed that the protesters were being paid to come out, “Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!”
