As President Donald Trump begins his “major investigation” into the supposed voter fraud that took place, he won’t have to look too far, considering that his top White House adviser, Steve Bannon, is believed to be registered to vote in two different states.
Trump tweeted on Wednesday that the only reason he lost the popular vote was because of the 3 to 5 million “illegal” voters.
I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!
White House strategist Steve Bannon is one of those people who are registered to vote in two states according to The Guardian.
An investigation uncovered that although Bannon was already registered to vote in Florida, he also registered in New York last year. Being registered to vote in two different states is not illegal and since Bannon only voted in New York, he did not break any laws.
