Comedian and “Late Night” host Seth Meyers always has something to say, usually a funny quip or bit of snark, over the day’s news, but Thursday night was different.
Meyers just sat quietly for a few moments and said, “I can’t,” then moved on to something else.
When it came time for his “Closer Look” segment, Meyers pointed out that President Donald Trump doesn’t even know what’s in his own healthcare bill, but has no problem finding time to attack MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski on Twitter. He called the tweets “vicious and cruel,” saying it was something that would come from an “old-school misogynist.”
Meyers read Trump’s Tweet and emphasized the president’s final line, “I said no.”
“Said no to what? Your f*cking meds?!”
Meyers admitted to the Daily Beast that he didn’t finish reading the tweets because they may be too hurtful to her.
