Katrina Pierson, the Trump campaign team spokeswoman was on the firing line on Monday as she put it across that her boss ‘’believe’’ that a federal adjudicator presiding over the Trump University case is of Mexican decent regardless of the fact the he is an American citizen.

Speaking at a campaign event last week, held in California, the Republican presidential frontrunner launched an arsenal against Judge Gonzalez Curiel since he had heard a class – action suit leveled against Trump University. It is worth mentioning at this point that previous students of the institution have been held on record as calling the university as a scam.

“I think Judge Curiel should be ashamed of himself. I think it’s a disgrace that he’s doing this,” Trump remarked. “The judge, who happens to be, we believe, Mexican…I think the Mexicans are going to end up loving Donald Trump.”

In light of this, on Monday, Alisyn Camerota from CNN put Pierson to task about the questions asked regarding the judge’s origins. “Katrina, ‘We believe he’s Mexican,’ what is that?” Camerota inquired. To this Pierson put it that filing a lawsuit against Trump University would be “like saying if you graduate from Harvard and you don’t have the same outcome in your profession as everyone else, you should sue Harvard. And that’s just simply absurd.”

The CNN presenter quickly interjected, “All sorts of things were over promised. That Donald Trump was going to playing a more active role than he was, that there was more of a rate of job success than really was true.”  To this Pierson responded, “I think what is really interesting about this particular judge — as Mr. Trump refers to him as a Trump hater — is he even mentions on his judicial questionnaire that he was a La Raza lawyers association member. This is an organization that has been out there organizing these anti-Trump protesters with the Mexican flags, they are pushing it, these signs have been very apparent.”

Camerota was not convinced as she sharply remarked, “But this judge isn’t Mexican. He was born here. He’s American.” Not to be outdone, Pierson maintained, “I’m not saying he’s Mexican.’’ Camerota then put it, ‘’But Mr. Trump says he’s Mexican.’’ To this Camerota answered, ‘’He says we believe.’’ Though the ladies failed to reach a consensus, one thing is certain, the man is American!
