From the beginning of the primaries, conservative activist and author Brad Thor was a highly vocalized member of the “Never Trump” movement. He even predicted the end of our republic if Donald Trump becomes President of The United States.
The thought of Trump winning in November disturbed Thor so bad that he even talked about leading a third party bid in an effort to stop Trump from becoming the president, although that never picked up steam.
After months of insisting that he will stick to his principles and never, ever vote for Trump because of the potential dangers the reality star can pose on the country, he seems to be changing his mind. Thor published an article yesterday on HotAir, describing Trump as America’s last hope for survival.
Thor compared America to a deadly cancer that only has three months to live. He claims that Hillary Clinton is an ineffective drug that “will actually strengthen it and speed out death.” Then he went on to describe Trump as an untested and possibly dangerous drug, and although the side effects are unknown…it is our only hope:
Drug #1 will kill us – no question. Drug #2 might kill us, but it also might:
- A) Slow the cancer, or even
- B) Cure the cancer
It’s a lot to hope for, I know, but hope is all we have left. We have exhausted every other avenue. Make no mistake – I believe one hundred percent in standing on principle. Principle, in this case though, will not cure cancer.
Sadly, that crappy clinic south of the border is starting to look like our only option.
