Maricopa County lived up to its reputation of being the Trumpiest County in America recently when it organized a “March for Trump” where hundreds of residents, including white nationalists, armed militiamen, and even some elected officials marched in honor of the 45th president.
Arizona Congressman Anthony Kern claims that he heard protesters yell “lock her up, lock her up,” a reference to imprison former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“If you don’t like it here, go to Syria, go to someplace else,” one protester shouted.
“I don’t want ’em, as a veteran I don’t want ’em, let ’em go back home,” another seconded. “If they’ve got a problem, let Saudi Arabia take care of ’em.”
When Dan Cohen of The Real News Network asked supports how they would make America great again, they were not shy about implying that Muslims were not the only ones who are not welcome.
“If she is Jewish, she should go back to her country,” a 13-year-old Trump supporter said.
“This is America, we don’t want Sharia Law,” one attendee explained. “Christian country,” he added.
Another suggested that Senator John McCain is a “secret communist.”
“I just want to let them know that I can’t wait for the liberal genocide to begin,” an Oath Keeper yelled at a small group of people who were protesting the march.
“That’s the way to make America great again,” he later told Cohen. “Liberals are destroying the country.”
