During a segment on CNN on Tuesday, it was called to attention the absurdity President Donald Trump’s constant use of Twitter.

Trump tweeted early Tuesday morning that the media was hatching a plan to force him off of the internet.

The FAKE MSM is working so hard trying to get me not to use Social Media. They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out.

The title on the on-screen chyron read: “Trump Defends Tweet Rants With Tweet Rant.”

Host Kate Bolduan said that the president was “defending his tirades on Twitter with new tirades on Twitter.”

“Once again, contradicting his team at the White House and insisting he means what he tweets and he tweets what he means,” the CNN host said. “Here’s the thing, the quote-unquote ‘media’ isn’t trying to tell him what to do at all with his Twitter feed, of course. It’s his own staff, his own advisers, his own supporters who are trying to get him to stop on the Twitters.”
