According to the new Fox News Poll, most voters feel that the US is the best country in the world (83%). But, the majority of that percent (more than a third) also think that Obama no longer feels the same way. Numbers that show how patriotic and honest Obama is, recorded a sharp decline in the past few years.
It’s interesting how the numbers show the difference between the Republicans and Democrats:
- 90% of Republicans think that the US is the best country in the world, while only 42% of them believe that Obama feels the same way,
- While 82% of Democrats consider the US to be the best in the world, and 88% of them think that Obama shares the same view as them.
In 2011, 60% of voters said that Obama is patriotic, but today only 54% of them believes that. Today, 75% of Democrats think that Obama is being honest, while only 15% of Republicans share their opinion. Also, the poll has shown that a lesser number of people now think that Obama is a caring and strong leader (60% of voters today compared with 68% in 2011).
The 1011 registered voters participated in the Fox News Poll that was conducted from March 1-3 this year. The Poll was conducted by telephone interviews by Anderson Robbins Research and Shaw & Company Research. The full poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.
