President Donald Trump has some issues over the fact the FBI Director James Comey did not arrest his presidential campaign rival Hillary Clinton.
During an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, Trump was questioned why there were still a lot appointees and staff left over from President Barack Obama’s administration, specifically James Comey. However, Trump voiced his support for the embattled director.
“When Jim Comey came out, he saved Hillary Clinton. He saved her life,” referring to Comey’s decision not to charge Clinton with a crime.
“When he was reading those charges, she was guilty of every charge, and then he said she was essentially OK,” Trump continued.
However, the president has expressed confidence that Comey will do a good job investigating his administration’s ties to Russia.
He then complained about the obstruction he was facing in Congress and laws that prohibit him from doing whatever he wants. “I wish they’d explain better the obstructionist nature,” he said.
