Sarah Huckabee Sander, who like her father, can benefit from erasing some old tweets.
President Donald Trump’s deputy White House press secretary, who many feel is doing a better job than her boss White House Secretary Sean Spicer, has received some backlash over some old Tweets that she posted before she started working for Trump.
It’s not Comey’s mess. It’s Hillary’s. Actions have consequences, even for those who believe they’re above the law
Imagine if a REPUBLICAN presidential candidate came under FBI investigation as votes were being cast
When they go low we go high – and attack the FBI director appointed by Obama!
Shortly after defending the president for firing FBI Director James Comey, many Twitter users quickly called out the “hypocrisy” in her older tweets when she was voicing her support for Comey. During this time, Sanders criticized Hillary Clinton when it was revealed that the FBI was investigating newly found emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop.
Several days before he was fired, Comey requested more resources for investigating the ties between Russia and Trump’s campaign team, yet Sanders saw nothing wrong with this as she defended Trump’s decision.
“We want this to come to its conclusion, we want it to come to its conclusion with integrity,” Sanders said the day after Trump fired Comey. “And we think that we’ve actually, by removing Director Comey, taken steps to make that happen.”
