Nebraska Gov. Calls Anti-Gay Lawmaker To Resign After A Gay Sex Movie Of Himself Was Found On State Computer

Nebraska Sen. Bill Kintner (R-Papillon) has been facing pressure from the state’s Republican Gov., Pete Ricketts, to resign after a sex video of the Sen. was found on his state-issued computer, according to the Lincoln Journal-Star.

Kintner, who is known for his extreme anti-gay stance, instigated the investigation on himself when he called the Nebraska State Patrol regarding “what he believed to be a potential internet scam that occurred while the senator was in Massachusetts using his state computer,” said a State Patrol spokesman.

Gov. Ricketts told Kintner over the phone that he needs to resign “if the allegations were true.”

“Due to the ongoing investigation of this issue, I have been unable to say anything publicly,” the governor said in a statement. “If the allegations are true, Senator Kintner needs to resign.”

Not much has been revealed about the content of the video other than it is a “sexually explicit video involving Kintner.”

The Nebraska Sen. is known for his extreme stance against homosexuality and a number of other issues.

Blogger Joe.My.God. wrote that Kintner “has loudly opposed same-sex marriage, gay adoption, and transgender rights. He has also publicly declared that Christians should let gays know their business isn’t wanted by providing them with bad service.”

While arguing against a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, Kintner called them “wetbacks” as a group of fourth graders toured the senate chambers.
